The Medical Society of Virginia's (MSV) 2011 Annual Meeting at The Homestead Resort in Hot Springs is quickly approaching. Reserve your room now by clicking here to enjoy MSV's discounted room rate before the Sept. 26 deadline.

This year's annual meeting will be somewhat different from previous meetings because we'll be providing a new opportunity for you to work together to influence the future of MSV. We are introducing a town hall where participants will have a forum for helping direct the future of MSV's governance process—we encourage you to share your ideas and perspectives regarding how we can help physicians get involved. The annual meeting will be filled with many other opportunities for you to be engaged, like the educational session where you can help design opportunities in team-based care. We will also recognize outgoing MSV President Cynthia Romero, M.D., FAAFP as she ends her term and Hugh M. Bryan III M.D., who will be inaugurated as MSV’s new president.

There will also be fun social activities like the MSV Alliance 5K walk/run to benefit the MSV Foundation, a Medical Society of Virginia Political Action Committee (MSVPAC) large donor reception and a post-inaugural reception.
