Nominations sought for 2009 Dr. Clarence A. Holland Award

The Medical Society of Virginia Political Action Committee (MSVPAC) encourages you to submit a nomination for the 2009 Dr. Clarence A. Holland Award.
The Holland Award is presented annually to a Virginia physician for outstanding contributions promoting the art and science of medicine and the betterment of public health through political service.
The nominee for the award must be an individual who has high personal integrity and has been an outstanding leader in his or her field.
Nominees should embody one or more of the following award criteria:
- Making an outstanding contribution to the community for citizenship and public service, beyond the call of duty, as a practicing physician.
- Providing outstanding leadership in the field of political advocacy.
- Promoting the art and science of medicine in or through government service.
The award will be presented at the Medical Society of Virginia’s Annual Meeting, October 23-25, at The Homestead
All nominations must be submitted in writing and received by Friday, September 18, 2009.
